# Fond Gripes > A teasing-list writer for the small habits of someone you love. List a partner's, friend's, sibling's, roommate's or parent's small habits and get the old "things I hate about you" form back: one "I hate the way you..." line per habit, then the turn - "But mostly I..." - that gives away it was love all along. Before you share it, the page checks the balance: too sharp, sideways, too sweet or the sweet spot. URL: https://fond-gripes.skillsafe.ai/ API: https://fond-gripes.skillsafe.ai/api.html ## What is free (runs in the browser) - A habit check of your words, per habit: looks or a trait, insult words, sore spots (money owed, drinking, an ex, lies, promises), sideways digs (must be nice, funny how, some of us), compliments in disguise (too generous, works too hard) and habits too short to picture. - The page's guess, using the same order as the verdict rule. - A paper fortune teller drawing: one numbered flap per habit (up to eight), a dot where the page flagged a habit, a hatched flap for a habit left out of the written list, and the turn in the centre. Press a number or "Pick a number" to open a flap. - Exports: Markdown, CSV and JSON, plus "copy the list". Four sample lists with saved replies that replay free. ## The metered task (one run, model gpt-terra) Task id `gripes`. Input: `who` (partner, friend, sibling, roommate, parent, other), `name`, `tone` (gentle, cheeky, deadpan), `habits` (numbered lines), `love` (the thing you love most, or not given) and the page's notes. Output: three checks (mean, veiled, toothless); a verdict by a fixed rule in that order - too_sharp, sideways, too_sweet, otherwise sweet_spot; a care and challenge balance (0 to 5 each) inside the verdict's corner; one line per habit - an "I hate..." line, or a kind note on why the habit stays out (looks, insults, real hurts and real complaints about fairness stay out); a turn starting "But mostly I" (with a blank to fill when no love line is given); up to three fixes; a title. The page re-checks every reply: the verdict against its own checks, the corner, one line per habit in order, the "I hate" and "But mostly I" openings, word limits, and nothing added that the person did not say (no new numbers, days or occasions, no he or she, no insults, no jabs at looks). ## Why it exists A "things I hate about you" list, read aloud, is an old way of saying the opposite. This app helps write one that teases habits and still sounds like love. ## Source skill Built on the SkillSafe skill @pmprompt/radical-candor (https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@pmprompt/radical-candor) - care personally and challenge directly at the same time; too sweet, too sharp and the sideways dig are the three ways to miss; aim at behaviour, never at traits a person cannot change - here pointed at a fond list instead of a performance review.
